To help us all celebrate the Festive Season in style we have two top quality 2005 Cotes du Rhone reds to offer as our Wines of the Month for December and with a special Christmas offer to boot! Single bottles are only £7.95 each but for December we are offering any three bottles for £20 - a saving of 16%!

The wines come from two of the top wine producers of the Rhone Valley, Michel Chapoutier and J Vidal-Fleury. Both these Cotes du Rhone wines offer exactly what such a wine should - warm, ripe red and black fruits with a hint of spice in an easy-drinking style - unlike so many cheap, thin versions.

Michel Chapoutier is an iconic winemaker, for not only does he produce excellent quality wines but he also only uses natural organic and biodynamic processes. J Vidal-Fleury is the oldest wine producer in the Rhone, having been founded in 1781. It is now owned by the Guigal family who produce traditional wines which strive to achieve the highest possible quality.

    TASTINGS

We have our first two tasting evenings lined up for the New Year so we suggest that you make a note in your 2008 diary to come along to the shop and help us to liven up our winter! The evenings booked are the Fridays of 15th February and 4th April 2008. Further details will be announced in due course – watch this space or ask in the shop.
